Finding the perfect wedding dress for your special day
If you are planning on getting married sometime in the near future you are probably stressing about which wedding gowns to get. When it comes to choosing the right one, one of the biggest considerations to make is the season your wedding will be held in.
The season of your wedding ceremony will determine the style, and at times even the colour of your dress if you want to add a dash of colour. If you are having your wedding in summer or spring, sleeveless or halter styles are great. This could also work for autumn, if you add a shawl for when it gets chilly. Winter is a little more difficult. You don’t want to be wearing long sleeves and be completely covered. A dress that covers your upper arms and shoulders will be fine, with a longer train.
When it comes to the colour, wedding dresses have long since evolved from the traditional white. Pinks and blues are great for summer and spring, while gold and oranges are great for autumn. For winter, a beautiful red dress will stand out and add warmth. You may also opt for a deep green. For an elegant mix, you could stick to traditional white with colour detail. A great way to do this is to incorporate beads, crystals or material.
When it comes to choosing from the endless amounts of wedding gowns available, it doesn’t have to be a daunting task. Make a few seasonal and style considerations and you will look dazzling on your big day.
